Sushi Shop — Westfield

Angus Interiors was engaged to deliver the interior fit-out for the Sushi Shop at Westfield Mall, creating a contemporary hospitality space designed to meet the high standards of one of New Zealand’s busiest retail environments.

Working within an operational shopping centre required careful planning, coordination and adherence to strict mall requirements, including after-hours works to minimise disruption. The project involved the construction of steel stud walls and bulkheads, suspended feature ceilings, premium acoustic ceiling systems, bespoke aluminium-framed joinery, and a striking Venetian plaster feature ceiling finished in a Japanese clay and lime render.

This produced a modern and visually impressive space that reflects the Sushi Shop brand. The success of this project led to a strong ongoing relationship with the client, with Angus Interiors being engaged for additional fit-outs across Christchurch.
